WIZ WIN.

This past Friday, my homie, Alex, hooked it up with some once in a lifetime (my life anyways) seats to the Wizards last preseason game against the Raptors. Joint was tight. We were seated right next to the Raptors players tunnel and seated pretty much behind the bench but to the left a little. In addition to the great view, the seats came with unlimited food and drink. I had no idea that this shit even existed. Unlimited popcorn, steak, drinks, alcohol, ice cream fruits, nachos, etc. You name it, they had it. Well, maybe except pizza. They didn't have pizza unfortunately.

Overall, it was a great experience. Got to kick it with an old homie and enjoy free food while watching an NBA game.

I got to high five DeMar Derozan and Kyle Lowry haha.

Side note: manually focusing sports is a bitch.

HTTR.

This past Sunday, I went to the Redskins/Eagles game at FedEx Field. It was my first real tailgating experience. There were about 15 or so of us. 'Twas wild. Met a lot of new people. We were at the "standing room only" section of the stadium but it really wasn't as bad as you'd think. It's the highest up I've ever been at FedEx, but overall, it wasn't bad.

OEGADGIB SERVES BULGOGI.

The title? Yes. I know. Should I have known? Yes. I blame Lauren Maria Consuela Gonzalez Rodriguez. For all the times I've been to this place, we've never ordered bulgogi simply because Laruen said they tried ordering one time and said they don't serve bulgogi. TURNS OUT THEY DO. You might be wondering why I'm making such a big deal out of this LOL. I mean I am and I'm not. It's really whatever. It's just unfortunate that all the times I've been to this place, I've never ordered bulgogi over a simple misunderstanding. Bulgogi is one of the greatest foods ever.

Last night, we went out for Stefan's birthday. It was nice being able to kick it with everyone during the work week. As always, it's a good time with the homies.

CATCHING UP.

I finally developed a couple of rolls that I started right around my birthday. Finished up this weekend in RVA. Was a good time. Forgot how pretty Portra is especially in soft light. Black and white was shot with Kodak TMAX 400 pushed to 1600 - developed with Kodak D-76.

LIKE BOURBON IN MY COFFEE CUP.

Last night, was amazing. Last night, I went to go see Gallant with special guest, Eryn Allen Kane, at U Street Music Hall in D.C. Went with Demi and some friends. Shoutout to my new Indo friends! Haha. It was wild though. I recently started listening to Gallant again last week after a homegirl of mine mentioned him on Twitter. I checked if he had any shows coming up and it just so happened that he was having one in DC on my birthday. It was fate.

Dude was amazing. His falsettos in person are crazy. You know you're good when you sound just as good live, if not better, than on a recorded track. if you haven't heard of Gallant, get on Spotify right now and look him up. Or click below.  Shoot, Eryn Allen Kane was bomb too. She paid tribute to D.C. with Sexy Lady at the end though!

It was an intimate show. U Street Music Hall is pretty small. It's basically a basement that can fit about 500 people. There's something about smaller shows that make it that much better. It was dope. I wanted to be first in line but nobody wanted to go with me except Rian hahaha. Rian ended up getting Gallant's sweaty ass towel during the show too lmao. It was cool that this show was the start of his Ology tour. Basically, his first show as a headliner. This dude is gonna get big one day. Maybe even win a Grammy.

It was nice not taking that many photos and just enjoying the concert. It's crazy now that at shows, all you see are phone screen. Wild bruh. Live in the moment more instead of trying to capture it all! I get it, you want to take some photos/videos. If you do, just make sure it doesn't take up half of of your whole damn time at the show. Enjoy yourself!

27.

This past weekend was wild. Celebrated my 27th birthday at The Living Room DC. It was dope. I rarely ever go out now, so it was fun being in the city with friends and fam. I barely remember it haha. For whatever reason, Mark and I decided to kill a whole bottle of Hennessy between the two of us. Bad idea lol. This was probably the closest I've been to blacking out lol. I'm surprised I was still able to take photos!

GIRL IN THE RED DRESS.

This particular roll of film spans a month of time. I originally loaded a roll of Fujifilm Superia 200 into my favorite little Contax T3 point and shoot when I was in California. Finally got around to shooting more of it this past weekend. Port City Brewery in Alexandria was dope. Definitely need to go there again. Also had a photo shoot in Merrifield with Uriah. 'Twas fun.

JULY RECAP.

July was fun. A lot happened in July. I really need to stop doing these "recap" posts and post when it happens because this is just too much all at once haha. Anyways, hope it doesn't bog down whatever you're using to read this!.

BEAN TOWN.

Jet Blue had a flash sale some time ago and Demi and I decided to make the most of it and take a trip to Boston. It was $20 one way per person! Put that joint on Facebook (which was actually where Demi saw it) and a few of my cousins and a couple of my friends decided to hop on the deal too.

I've never been to the city of Boston in my life. I've been to Harvard which is in Cambridge, but never over to Boston. I dislike Boston's sports teams, but absolutely love the city of Boston and their people. The people that I encountered over there were nothing short of friendly. It was dope. I also had a real lobster roll for the first time ever in life. Shit was amazing.

JUNE RECAP.

A lot happened in June. Too lazy to write about the whole month. Who actually reads what I say anyways? Haha.

I've been lagging, I know. Many photos. Let the jawns load.
