Oh man, it’s been months since I last posted on this blog. A lot has happened since then. I guess I’ll update a few posts in succession to catch up haha. Here’s a little shoot with Janice. She told me not to post these but nobody reads this blog lmao. So here ya go.

Had a little no-so-serious shoot with my home girl Lauren , AKA Soo Yung. I mean I’m the only one who calls her Soo Yung but whatever haha.

Took some impromptu portraits of some of my fam who were in town. I love taking portraits of family because they’re your heart and soul. It’s important to document people at whatever stage of life they’re in.

Had a dope ass time at SITW in VA Beach. Pharrell put on for the 757. Didn’t take as many photos as I would have liked, but here’s a roll of Portra 400 taken with my Yashica T4.

Isn’t it great catching up with a close homie? I haven’t seen Michelle in some months and it was dope catching up and kicking it in person. ‘Til next time.
Shot with a Mamiya RZ67 and some Kodak Tri-X.

Isn’t it dope being able to knock out two birds with one stone? I had to be in the Georgetown area to meet up with someone for a light meter. Since I was already in the area, I was able to shoot with Vicky who’s very talented at what she does. This was a fun shoot. It was supposed to rain but thank goodness it only sprinkled here and there. Definitely looking forward to more shoots in the future.

Last month after a few weeks of planning, I finally was able to shoot with Jocel. It was her first shoot ever. I’d say it went well - first shoot or not. The only thing I wish we could change was the weather. Did not expect it to be that cold!! She’s a trooper for modelling out in the cold especially with what she was wearing. Props!

Took the RZ with me to the mall this past weekend with the fam. Shot some Kodak Tri-X 400 at box speed. I love this camera, man. You can get some dope portraits just about anywhere.

Back in January, the fam and I went down to Richmond for a FACT event. Man, we’re old now. Anyways, while we were there, I was able to have a little mini shoot with the homegirl, Lauren.
At this point, I had just traded my RZ67 for a Pentax 67 (regretfully after the fact. Thank god I was able to get another RZ67 though) and wanted to try out the Pentax. I ended up losing a few frames because for whatever reason, the shutter was messing up at speeds over 1/500th of a second it seems like.
Anyways, shot some Ektar with the Pentax 67 and then shot some Ektachrome with my M7.
